Sucker Punch is at it again with the third and newest in the inFAMOUS series – Second Son.� Announced this past February, they released the following gameplay video during E3. Check it out:
They stuck with the third-person view for the open-world. When I’ve talked with others about this game, there’s always a discussion if this would be more fun as first-person. But I think it comes down to showing all the great effects – if it was FPS, you’d miss a lot of the surrounding graphic enhancements. It’s a big part of the game, and it’s pretty fun to watch.
The story is set about 7 years after the original inFAMOUS, and this time it’s in an� Seattle-like city (The CheatCodes.com offices are just outside Seattle, so that makes this a bit more interesting for us.)� I don’t know, but I’m guessing it won’t actually be called “Seattle”, but some other name (like New York was Empire City, and New Marias was New Orleans).� The main character is Delsin Rowe (what kind of name is that?) and he gets his “bio-terrorist” power after saving a bus-load of kids from a fiery death.� His super power: he can control fire and turn into smoke.� That doesn’t sound so cool, until you watch the video – then you realize what a cool power it is.
